Homekit Camera G5 Pro acts as a hub with both Zigbee and Thread dual protocols and can connect up to 80 Aqara Zigbee subdevices (**Not a third-party Zigbee device) or up to 40 Thread subdevices or 20 Aqara Zigbee subdevices and 20 Thread subdevices. It integrates third-party Matter devices into the Aqara Home app and exposes existing Aqara devices to Matter-compatible platforms such as Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home. *Compatibility depends on device type, ecosystem support and presence of Matter Controller.
HomeKit Secure Video and Multiple Storage Methods:
4MP Security Camera Hub G5 Pro supports HomeKit Secure Video (an active iCloud subscription and Apple Home Hub required), has 8GB of internal encrypted eMMC storage, and supports Aqara Cloud, local NAS, and RTSP for protection with end-to-end encryption; Only you or your family can access G5 data. Note: 24/7 recording is only supported with RTSP and is stored on your local devices.
