The JBL Go 5 is an ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker that packs louder, legendary JBL sound with deeper bass into a palm-sized form factor you can take absolutely anywhere. Featuring a 45 mm / 1.75" transducer delivering 4.8 W RMS of output power, the Go 5 produces surprisingly big, full-bodied sound with crystal-clear details and rich low-end that defies its compact size. Adding a whole new dimension of personality to the Go line, the Go 5 introduces ambient edge lighting to the front panel — selectable light themes that set the vibe and serve as intuitive visual cues for powering on, pairing, low battery status and Auracast™ mode, making the Go 5 as visually expressive as it is sonically impressive.

Built to handle whatever life throws at it, the Go 5 carries an IP68 rating for waterproofing and dustproofing — with submersion protection to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes — alongside a tough drop-proof construction, making beach days, poolside sessions, surprise rain showers and accidental drops a non-issue. The Go 5 also supports lossless audio via its USB-C connection: plug directly into a compatible laptop, phone or source device and hear your playlists reproduced in their purest form, without the compression inherent in wireless streaming. Battery life extends up to 8 hours of standard playtime, with an additional 2 hours unlocked through Playtime Boost mode — an economy setting that optimises output for extended listening — for a total of up to 10 hours on a single 3-hour charge.

For those who want a bigger sound experience, the Go 5 makes multi-speaker connection effortless in two ways. AirTouch instant stereo pairing allows two JBL Go 5 speakers to link automatically by simply bumping them together — no app setup required — for true left and right stereo sound. Auracast™ technology enables connection to multiple JBL Auracast™-enabled speakers simultaneously for an even wider, more immersive listening experience that grows with the occasion. Both the audio and lighting experience are fully customisable via the JBL Portable App, which provides a 7-band equaliser for fine-tuning the sound to personal taste, selectable light themes, and over-the-air firmware updates to keep the speaker up to date. The Go 5 is also compatible with the JBL EasySing Mic Mini for wireless karaoke use.
