The Smeg CKLW2001 is a stovetop whistling kettle with Smeg’s iconic 1950s retro styling: soft rounded curves, a glossy finish and the lasered Smeg logo. It brings classic Italian design to your kitchen and matches the rest of Smeg’s 50’s Style range of appliances, such as kettles, toasters and stand mixers. With a 2.3-litre capacity, it boils enough water for 10 cups of tea or coffee at once, so it suits families, guests and everyday use.

Construction: the body, inner body, lid and spout are all made of stainless steel for durability, hygiene and a long life. The water only touches stainless steel, so it doesn’t pick up any taste. Base: the stainless steel and aluminium base spreads heat quickly and evenly for efficient boiling, with a 20 cm bottom plate. All hob types: works on induction, gas, ceramic and electric hobs, so it fits any kitchen and keeps working if you change your cooker.

Whistle: a fixed single-tone whistle sounds when the water reaches boiling point, so you know straight away that it’s ready, even if you’ve stepped away from the cooker. Handle: the stainless steel handle has a silicone coating that stays cool to the touch and doesn’t slip, for a safe, secure grip when lifting and pouring. Spout cap: a cap on the spout makes pouring hot water safer and more controlled.

Water level indicator: MAX and MIN markings show you exactly how much water to add, so you don’t overfill or boil more than you need, which saves energy and time. Removable lid: the lid comes off for easy filling and cleaning. Dimensions: 243×277×205 mm (W×H×D). Weight: 1.34 kg. 2-year warranty.
